GW2 Toypocalypse Event Guide

Toypocalypse is a Wintersday event located in Tixx’s airship. Talk to Seraph Solder in Lion’s Arch (next to Tixx’s Infinirarium instance) and join the fight against toys. The toys are trying to take over the gigantic toymaking machine in the center of the workshop, and if they succeed, Wintersday will be ruined! Defend Tixx’s present-delivering dolyaks and the gigantic toy-making machine from waves of maniacal toys in these challenging and fun events.
 


Once you enter the instance you should protect gift dolyaks from malfunctioning toys and survive all ten rounds to win. The goal is to build defenses like catapult, barriers, snowmen… Destroy trees and buildings to get bundles that can be used to build defenses. Scrap and snow bundles allow you to place and upgrade turrets and barriers. You can heal only in the center of the map, next to dolyaks. Each time you die, respawn delay time increases. You can heal dolyaks with hay that spawn near them on even rounds.
 

If you are creative you can place the catapult between fences and the toys cannot destroy them. Also, the best tactic seams to be building the snow walls very close to dolyaks! But you have to be very fast.
Toypocalypse

At the end of each round Toxx will also try to kill the dolyaks! After defeating Toxx you can find Mysterious Presents which give you Personalized Wintersday Gifts and Giant Wintersday gifts.


There are two achievements you can acquire here:

  • Not Toying Around (surviving waves of Toypocalypse)
  • Toypocalypse Canceled (surviving waves of Toypocalypse without losing any gift dolyaks)

GW2 Lion’s Arch Wintersday Final Stop

Tixx has landed in Lion’s Arch for the Wintersday grand finale (location Grand Piazza). During the next two weeks Guild Wars 2 players will have a chance to repeat all five events:
 

  1. Honorary Krewe Member
  2. Help in Hoelbrak
  3. Charitable Charr
  4. Disaster Derailed
  5. Sylvari Surprise

Once you enter the instance interact with Toy Production Console and chose one of the events.
 

Important note: Don’t forget to take the gifts from the giant chest next to Tixx in Lion’s Arch. The rewards are:

  • 15 Slot Gift Box
  • Toymaker’s Bag
  • 3 unsafe Wintersday Gifts
  • 200 Mystical Cogs

GW2 Honorary Krewe Member Wintersday guide

GW2 Honorary Krewe Member Tixxs InfinirariumGuild Wars 2 event Honorary Krewe Member Tixx’s Infinirarium is the fifth Wintersday event which starts on December 19 at 10:00 AM PST (7:00 PM CET). The event takes place in Rata Sum underground level next to Dept. of Arcane Eye Point of Interest. Use Accountancy Waypoint and head to the south. The recommended number of players is five.

Important Notes for Honorary Krewe Member Tixx’s Infinirarium Event:

  1. Don’t forget to loot the chest at the middle of the instance.
  2. You can find a door at the south part of the map if you want to exit the instance, and the exit icon above the mini-map hasn’t showed.
  3. You can complete two achievements during this event:
    – Honorary Krewe Member (after completing the event)
    – Smash the Town (if you haven’t finished it in the previous events). Just smash everything that you can, even trees. Use the AoE skills if you have. You can get this achievement during or after you finish the instance).

GW2 Charitable Charr Tixx’s Infinirarium Wintersday guide

Charitable Charr – Tixx’s Infinirarium is the third Wintersday event that takes place in Black Citadel. Climb aboard to see what kind of toy Tixx and his Funwerks Krewe have crafted for the charr. The entrance to the instance can be found near Perimeter Loop. The recommended players number is five. This is a combination of previous two events.

Disaster Derailed Wintersday Guide

Disaster Derailed Tixx’s Infinirarium is the second Wintersday event that takes place in Divinity’s Reach. Board Tixx’s floating workshop and play brand-new events based on the fancy new toy he’s made just for the noble humans. The entrance to the instance can be found next to Dwayna Waypoint. The recommended players number is five.
Important Notes:

  1. Don’t forget to loot the chest at the middle of the instance.
  2. You can find a door at the south part of the map if you want to exit the instance, and the exit icon above the mini-map hasn’t showed.
  3. You can complete two achievements during this event:
    – Disaster Derailed (after completing the event)
    – Smash the Town (if you haven’t finished it in the previous Sylvary Surprise event). Just smash everything that you can, even trees. Use the AoE skills if you have. You can get this achievement during or after you finish the instance).

 

Objectives for Disaster Derailed Tixx’s Infinirarium

1. Collect presents for the toy princesses (15 presents)
2. Color unpainted princess dolls with the plasma paint cannon (40 dolls painted)
3. Retake the princess doll’s hamlet from the skritt
4. Defend the toy Ventary from the princess dolls
5. Destroy malfunctioning turrets (21 turrets)
6. Stop Toxx from rampaging through the airship

Cold-Weather Friend Achievement Guide

Cold-Weather Friend Achievement can be completed by building snowmen. Magic Snows are found throughout cities during Wintersday 2012. You can interact with them with the Build Magic Snowman action, which will summon a snowman and spawn 5 Snowballs. Creating snowmen will progress the Colder-Weather Friend achievement. The magic snow can be interacted with again after a period of time and are reset on a per-character basis. In the list below you can find all locations with screenshots.

Sylvari Surprise Wintersday Guide

Sylvari Surprise Tixx’s Infinirarium is the Wintersday event during Toymaker’s first stop – The Grove. Inside the airship, you’ll meet Tixx and his somewhat unstable golem Toxx and experience a series of unique new events that feature a brand-new toy.

  2. You can find a door at the south part of the map if you want to exit the instance, and the exit icon above the mini-map hasn’t showed.
  3. You can complete two achievements during this event:

Objectives for Sylvari Surprise Tixx’s Infinirarium

1. Destroy the tar elementals, and return their oaze to the machines
2. Teleport to the platforms above the gift-giving apparatus and stop the mischievous skritt
3. Collect plant food near buildings for the Ventari toys.
4. Destroy the mail-functioning turrets
5. Stop Toxx from rampaging through the airship
