GW2 Fractals of the Mists Dungeon Guide

Fractals of the Mists is the first dynamic dungeon in Guild Wars 2. It is comprised of a series of mini dungeons called fractals. Each time you start your adventure in the Fractals of the Mists you will be assigned three random fractals with bonus “boss fractal” at the end. Every time you re-visit the hub, the dungeon scales up in difficulty and becomes more rewarding. Fractals is also the place where you will be able to earn the new Ascended items and Infusions.

Entrance

The entrance to the Fractals of the Mists is located in Lion’s Arch at a new Asura Gate.

GW2 Event Investigation by Miyani

Stormwreck Deeps – Caledon Forest
You will need to rescue her in an event if she isn’t present. You must jog her memory with items that remind her of home. There will be objects scattered on the seafloor, including Driftwood, Seaweed, and Sea Urchin Meat. You will need to give one piece of the following three in any order: Seaweed, sea urchin meat and a scallop. (don’t give her driftwood) and she will give you a magic scroll.

GW2 Event Additional Karka Attacks

The event starts after receiving the mail Additional Karka Attacks.

1. Go to Caledon Forest and find Warden Lochlain
There is also event to kill young karka (help him with this event), which starts next to Warden Lochlain, so he can be dead when you find him!

2. Finish the event: Drive the invading karka out of Morgan’s Spiral.
I finished this event but it seams to be bugged as well. The NPC will tell you that this was the first time that he saw karkas and that he believes that he know his names from his dream.

Tears of Itlaocol

The Tears of Itlaocol is a mini-dungeon found in Caledon Forest. Your first step is to defeat Veteran Hylek Chieftain. Behind the Veteran you will find three boulders and a gong. Pick up a boulder and throw it at the gong to open the door. Inside, there are several Veteran Hyleks on your path and at the end you will find stones and Tears of Itlaocol. You have to solve a puzzle by putting the tears on the rocks. Look up at the rock face above the small waterfall and you will see glowing dots. Copy the pattern of glowing dots and you will solve the puzzle. Completing the mini-dungeon will grant you the Tears of Itlaocol achievement in the explorer tab.

Shadow of the Mad King ACT 4 Guide

Shadow of the Mad King ACT 4 -Attend the Party, starts at 9:00 AM PDT/16:00 GMT on October 31, and will run until November 1 (afternoon PDT/19:00 GMT). Once Phase 4 starts, the Ascent to Madness dungeon will no longer be available – but you will still be able to enter the Mad King’s realm, including the Labyrinth, the Clocktower, Reaper’s Rumble and Lunatic Inquisition.
 
The event will continue to run every few minutes all day long so everyone can get their hat and achievement. It seams that you have to wait ~ 40 minutes between events.
 
The event starts in Lion’s Arch – Grand Piazza with the game: Your Mad King says
All you have to do is to listen to Mad King and do (type) what he says. If you are not sure what to type just look at the right side of your screen (screenshot no.1). You will get achievement Attend the Party and the chest even if you missed some of his commands. Unfortunately, you can be disconnected from the server during the event, and you’ll have to wait for a new event to start in order to get your rewards!.

GW2 Shadow of the Mad King Ascent to Madness ACT 3 guide

Shadow of the Mad King ACT 3 – Ascent to Madness, starts on October 28th, at 12:00 PM PT/19:00 GMT. You can participate in this event even if you haven’t finished ACT 1 and ACT 2.

 
A lot of people cannot participate in the event. If you have 19:9:18:1614:101 Error, try to log in again.
 

The beautiful lion statue in Lion’s Arch has shattered, and in its place, there is now a portal to the Mad King’s realm. Steel yourself if you decide to enter this nightmarish world of madness and mirth where heroes battle to keep the Mad King locked away and harmless.

Mad Memoires VII: Handless

Your journey starts in Gendarran Fields, Ascalonian Settlement. At the location on the fourth screenshot, use Corporeal Field scan 4. It will trigger event Drive back the hands of the accused thieves. After completing the event, talk to Cashel and get the seventh book Mad Memoires VII: Handless.
