GW2 Gem Store offers new Town Clothing items and new pet Mini Lion Cub:
GW2 Game Update The Secret of Southsun is slated for release in just over one week from now – May 14, 2013.
You have probably read the latest official patch notes, but we have for you some undocumented changes:

Decorative Molten Jetpack and Fused Gauntlet are new items which can be acquired by completing new dungeon Molten Facility and achievement from the last chapter of the Flame and Frost series – Retribution.
You can preview the items in the PvP Locker. Completing the meta-achievement for Flame and Frost, “Alliance Breaker“, awards you a Fused Gauntlet Ticket. Use this item to exchange it for your choice of Fused Gauntlets, a unique exotic item. Completion of this achievement requires all of the other Flame and Frost achievements except “A Rallying Flame“.
Braham’s Mace and Shield and Rox’s Short Bow and Quiver are each available in the Style category for 600 gems. Apply each skin to any weapon of the same type to change its appearance. Skins can either be applied to a PvE item or added to your PvP locker for use in the Mists.
GW2 Flame and Frost Retribution is the last chapter of the Flame and Frost series. This chapter will send you in secret foundries deep beneath the Shiverpeaks where the Molten Alliance forges deadly new weaponry that combine the fiery power of the Flame Legion with the iron might of the dredge.
Prepare for an underground raid against the Molten Alliance in our brand-new Living Story dungeon! Fight alongside Rox and Braham on this final mission against the combined forces of the dredge and Flame Legion, which culminates in a boss battle that will go down in Guild Wars 2 history!
As some of you might have noticed we attended an event where NCSoft and Carbine presented their up and coming MMORPG Wildstar. We took this chance to talk to Wildstar’s Lead Systems Designer, Mr. Christopher Behrens, about the dungeons in their game. We played a level 20 dungeon during the event and I must tell you that it felt very good. Wildstar Life, website from our MMORPG Life network, has been invited to attend a fan event in Brighton, England. Reason is Wildstar, upcoming MMORPG from Carbine Studios and NCSoft. They will get to play the game, talk to the developers in person and generally get familiar with what Wildstar has to offer. First reports already came in and it seems that Wildstar has a lot to offer to MMORPG fans. The game just entered its first closed beta stage (which you can sign up for here), but it already feels very developed and thoroughly thought out. Our reporters from the scene are under a strict NDA, but we can assure you that they will relate everything they can about the game and there might be some interviews up on the website very soon as well. We’ll update this post with news as they happen and you can also follow @mmorpglife on twitter for up to date news.

Starting today, new Frost and Flame Dye Kits along with Molten Alliance Mining pick are available in Black Lion for a limited time.
According to Nate Long, ArenaNet’s web programmer on the leaderboards, the long waited GW2 Leaderbords are finally live. Leaderboards consists of three main categories of play in the game: Player vs. Player (PvP), World vs. World (WvW), and Achievements. They provide metrics for World’s rating, player’s rating based on PvP matches and player’s total achievement score.
At this moment, the top 100 users in PvP and Achievements are shown, but over the next few weeks this number will be increased, and additional options will be added.
